It can be caused by different video encoding type. Dolphin recovered videos are in H264, 265, 263, etc, this is raw video type, you need to use special Dolphin video player and see. The recovered video files are raw DVR files, these files are original files which are valid for digital forensics.
If you want to play those files in other players, you need to go to video repair software module>File codec and you can then convert those dav raw video files to MP4 encoded videos and then you can play them easily by other players.
